Lorraine Wohl, the owner of elle w collection in New York City, is a connoisseur of all things French. Her shop at 864 Lexington Avenue is a tribute to her great eye and good taste. She specializes in mirrored Art Deco pieces, torcheres, mirrors, chandeliers and sconces, antique and costume jewelry, as well as vintage couture. She has been in business in Westport, CT; San Francisco, CA; and now for more than fifteen years in New York City.

Lorraine loves Paris and has an apartment there. One of her ventures is taking interested people to the May and November Brocante at the Place de la Bastille and teaching them the ins and outs of buying and shipping antiques from Paris.
